Alice Wainwright Park Ramp to Rickenbacker Causeway

This draft concept shows a ramp design for the northern end of Alice Wainwright Park. The Rickenbacker Causeway Masterplan also includes a connection from the sidewalk on that road, which is elevated above the park, into the park; however, it proposes a connection over the water, which will likely be more expensive, difficult to build, and obtain permits. We propose a connection on land. This will allow more use of the park, reduce the very long dead end, and increase safety. There is also a ramp sloping down, just past the proposed top of the new ramp, which leads to access under the Causeway, to a pathway on the north that then runs West to Brickell Avenue. This allows much easier access for Brickell Residents to get to this Park, rather than a longer path on SW 32nd Road.
