Future Vision Studios Founder Aaron DeMayo Unanimously Re-Elected as Chair of Miami's Climate Resilience Committee

Future Vision Studios proudly announces that Aaron DeMayo, founder and principal, has been unanimously re-elected as Chair of the City of Miami Climate Resilience Committee for a second consecutive year. This re-election demonstrates strong confidence from the committee members and recognizes Aaron’s effective leadership and unwavering dedication to Miami’s resilience and sustainability. Nkosi Muse was also unanimously re-elected as Co-Chair.
In 2024, Aaron’s leadership was instrumental as the Committee guided significant policy recommendations and provided critical oversight and feedback on several key City projects. Notable accomplishments included passing important resolutions to improve local environmental health—such as phasing out gas-powered leaf blowers—and advising the City Commission on the responsible redevelopment of city-owned waterfront properties like Watson Island, Peacock Park, and Dinner Key Spoil Islands.
Through structured workshops, public meetings, and active collaboration with industry experts and community stakeholders, the Committee has consistently elevated public awareness and advanced city-wide action on climate resilience. These ongoing efforts continue to position Miami as a forward-thinking city proactively preparing for the impacts of climate change.
Looking ahead to the next term, Aaron and the Committee plan to prioritize innovative resilience strategies, emphasize community engagement and equity, and shape Miami’s budget priorities to ensure tangible, long-lasting impacts.
