Future Vision Studios had the opportunity last month to attend and provide input for the 'Resilience, Sustainable Infrastructure & Open Space' Charette for the North Bay Village Master Plan alongside Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, founder of DPZ Co.
The NBV100 Master Plan includes recommendations on raising the entire island in the future, by creating ordinances that incentivize development that requires and includes the ability to retrofit structures to the new planned Base Flood Elevation heights of the future. Long term planning is a major key to the future habitation of South Florida.
